In the early 1990s, Walter began working in music, video art and performance, and soon began focusing on filmmaking techniques, making music videos and documentaries about various Tuscan and international artists. In 1997 he founded the INSEKT MULTIMEDIA production house, making documentaries and TV magazine shows for the national channels RAI, Mediaset and Sky. To date he has made over 40 documentaries on subjects ranging from art, history and architecture to landscape, food and social issues. Several of his films have received special mentions, recognitions and awards and have been screened at important national and international festivals.In 2008 he began working with Slow Food Tuscany and the Slow Food Foundation for Biodiversity, making documentary films about food communities. He became fully committed to the philosophy, and his experiences inspired his latest films, closely connected to the Slow Food world, like The Women of Zeri, which was an official selection at leading festivals including the Cinema Italiano in Hawaii Film Festival 2011, Al Jazeera Documentary Film Festival 2010, International Film and Food Festival in Brasil 2010, Ecologico Film Festival 2010 and Slow Food On Film 2009.

Stefano began working at the age of 18 as an underwater cameraman for documentaries and television reports, immersing himself in the waters of the Mediterranean, the Red Sea and the Pacific Ocean, filming with a 16mm camera and directing and organizing the shoots himself.
He then began to work in advertising as a production assistant for Film Master Milano, eventually becoming an executive producer for Final Touch Monaco. In the meantime he continued to work on international productions as assistant to the executive producer.
Most recently he has been writing storylines and screenplays for film and television (series seven of Carabinieri for Mediaset Fidia Film Roma; Love and Virtue, to be directed by Raoul Ruiz for Fountain of Life Production in London; plus other screenplays for films and low-budget television series for the broadcasters RAI, Mediaset and ZDF Germany).
Stefano has extensive experience in the field as a first assistant director, second unit director, acting coach and director for films, commercials and documentaries in Italy and abroad. He has worked with actors such as Sean Penn, Kristin Scott Thomas, Anne Bancroft, Mel Brooks, Neri Marcorè, Ornella Muti, Margherita Buy and Alessandro Benvenuti.

Matteo composes songs and soundtracks. He has produced arrangements and written songs for various albums and written music for documentaries, plays, audiobooks, multimedia installations, commercials, short films and feature films, in Italy and abroad. He has a diploma in Applied Music from the Rovigo Conservatory, where he received the highest possible grade and first-class honors. He has taught at Padua University’s performing arts school and the Teatro Comunale in Bologna.
